Troubleshooting Levlix
Most problems with Levlix come down to a switched-off module, a missing permission or a role that sits too low. This page lists the common symptoms and what to check first. For anything a module needs but lacks, the fastest check is Server Health in your server's dashboard sidebar; the Server Health guide explains every finding.
Levlix Does Not Respond at All
- Check the status page. If Levlix is down, nothing you change on your server will help; wait until it is back.
- Make sure Levlix is still on your server and can see the channel: it needs View Channel and Send Messages there.
- Open Server Health. It names every channel and permission that keeps a module from working.
A Slash Command Is Missing
- The module is switched off. Commands of a module that can be switched off are only published on servers where the module is on. Switch it on in the dashboard and the commands follow within a few seconds.
- You may not use it.
/mycommandslists exactly the commands you can use on this server. Commands for moderators and administrators do not show for other members, and a server can restrict commands per role or channel on its Command Permissions page or under Discord's Server Settings > Integrations > Levlix. See Command permissions. - No Levlix command shows at all. Levlix was probably invited without the applications.commands scope. Invite it again from the invite page; your settings stay.
A Message Never Arrives
Welcome messages, log entries, task cards and other notifications are skipped without an error in the channel when Levlix cannot post there. The usual causes:

| The message or module is switched off | Switch it on in the dashboard. |

Roles Are Not Given
Levlix needs Manage Roles, and the role it gives must sit below Levlix's own highest role. Open Server Settings > Roles and drag the Levlix role above level roles, birthday roles, join roles and shop roles. Bot roles, booster roles and @everyone can never be given.
Members Get No XP
- Enable XP System is off, or the source is off. The Rewards page in the dashboard has one switch per source: Chat Messages, Voice Activity, Reactions / Emojis, Invites, Thread Creation and Thread Messages.
- The wait time has not passed. After a message earns XP, the next one only counts after a random wait between Min. Wait Time and Max. Wait Time (10 to 180 seconds by default).
- Voice: no XP in the server's AFK channel or while the member has muted or deafened themselves.
- The member opted out of activity tracking with
/privacy. - Bots never earn XP.

My Server Is Missing in the Dashboard
- The server list shows servers where Levlix is present and you are a member. You can manage a server if you own it, are an administrator or have Manage Server; other members can view it.
- Servers without Levlix appear under Available Servers only if you could add the bot there, that is with Manage Server or Administrator.
- Just got a new role or added Levlix? Press Refresh in the Available Servers section to reload your servers and roles from Discord.
- Server pages need the bot online. If they do not load, check the status page.
Levlix Answers in the Wrong Language
Replies only you see follow your personal language: set it with /preferences, otherwise Levlix uses your Discord language. Messages everyone in a channel sees, such as quizzes, rank cards and shop posts, use the server language under Server Settings > General Settings > Language in the dashboard. See Languages.
Does Inviting Levlix Again Delete Anything?
No. Settings, points, levels and shop items belong to the server, not to the invite. Inviting Levlix again only adds missing permissions to the existing Levlix role.
Exporting or Deleting Your Data
Run /privacy in Discord or open Privacy & Data in your account menu in the dashboard. Both offer a data export (once every 24 hours) and deleting all your data. Details are in Data Retention and Privacy.
