Levlix Game ID Registration Guide

The Game ID module lets members link an external gaming ID (e.g. a Lords Mobile or other game account number) to their Discord account. It unlocks participation in Game ID quizzes and grants a one-time point reward when the ID is first registered.

Member Command

/gameid
/gameid game_id: <your ID>

/gameid opens your private Game ID hub with two tabs:

Tab Description
Overview Your registered ID and its status. Without an ID, a button opens the registration form; with a locked ID, Request change opens the change request form
My requests Your change requests with their status (waiting, approved or rejected)

The game_id option is optional: with it, the ID is registered right away and the hub shows the result. An ID has 5 to 12 digits; the bot tells you if the format is wrong. Your first ID is registered right away and earns the one-time reward; after that your entry is locked.

To change your registered ID later, send a change request from the hub with the new ID and a reason. Staff approve or reject it, and you get a DM with the decision (with the reason when it is rejected). You can only have one open change request at a time. Alternatively a staff member unlocks your slot, and you can change the ID once yourself.

Managing Game IDs in Discord

Admins manage the module in /setup under Server and more and then Game IDs. The page holds the settings and two screens:

Where in /setup Description
Members can register a Game ID Turn the module on or off for the server
Name of the ID Customise the field label (e.g. "Player ID", "Account Number")
Channel for change requests Set the channel where change requests are posted
Role pinged for change requests Set the role pinged on change requests. Without a role, nobody is pinged
Member tools → Look up ID Look up a member's registered Game ID
Member tools → Change ID Manually set a member's Game ID (no reward granted)
Member tools → Allow one change Unlock a locked entry so the member can submit a new ID
Member tools → Send test notification Send a test notification to verify the setup
Change requests List all pending change requests and approve or reject them

Server Configuration

The same settings are also available on the Levlix Dashboard under Engagement → Game IDs:

Setting Description
Enable Module Turn Game ID registration on or off for the server
Notification Channel Channel where change requests are posted for staff review
Notification Role Role pinged when a change request needs review
ID Label What the ID is called in member-facing messages (e.g. "Player ID")

Pending change requests appear on the same page under Change Requests, with Approve and Reject buttons. In the Registered Game IDs list, Change ID sets a member's ID (no reward) and Unlock lets a member with a locked entry change it once with /gameid. The registration reward is a fixed 1,000 points and cannot be changed.

Notes

  • One Game ID per member per server, and no two members on a server can register the same ID. To switch IDs, a member sends a change request or a staff member unlocks the slot.
  • The reward is a one-time bonus paid on the first registration. Subsequent changes do not re-award points.
  • Change requests are posted as a card in the notification channel with Approve and Reject buttons. After the decision, the card shows who decided and when.
  • If nobody acts on a change request, it stays pending: check Change requests in /setup or on the dashboard periodically to clear the backlog.
