Pets

Important
The RPG module is currently in beta. Server admins must enable it manually on the Modules page of the web dashboard before these commands become available to members.

Pets are companions that fight at your side. You befriend them while fighting, raise them by feeding and fighting, and pick one to be your active pet. Open them from More → Pets on the home screen.

Befriending a Pet

  • Hunts: every won hunt has a small chance (0.3 %) to befriend a pet. The species comes from the group that fits your level: early species at first, mid species from level 35, late species from level 80.
  • Dungeons: every monster you defeat in a dungeon has a 1 % chance to befriend a pet of any species. Rarer species are much less likely.

The Active Pet

One pet at a time is active. It joins your hunts, tower runs, arena duels and world boss attacks and lends its bonus:

Species Group Bonus
Forest Sprite Early +5 % dodge chance
Cinder Imp Early +5 % critical hit chance
Mossback Tortoise Early +10 % max HP
Sky Falcon Mid +5 % speed, +5 % critical hit chance
Frost Wolf Mid +10 % attack
Stone Sentinel Mid +15 % defense
Phoenix Chick Late +10 % max HP, heals 10 % at the start of a fight
Shadow Cat Late +8 % dodge chance, +5 % critical hit chance
Lightning Drake Late +12 % attack, +5 % speed
Crystal Beetle Rare +10 % max HP, attack and defense, +5 % critical hit and dodge chance

A pet's bonus grows with its level: a level 50 pet gives twice the bonus of a fresh one. The extra HP is HP for the fight only and is spent before your own.

Raising a Pet

  • Fighting: the active pet earns 20 % of the XP your hunts and dungeon fights give, and XP from tower floors.
  • Feeding: feed food and consumables from your bag on the pets screen. Rarer items give more XP (an epic item twelve times a common one).
  • Level cap: pets reach at most level 50.

Select a pet in the list to see its details, make it active, feed it or release it. Releasing asks for a confirmation and cannot be undone.
