Managing a growing Discord server means dealing with rule breakers. The question is never whether it will happen, but how efficiently your team can respond when it does. Levlix gives your moderators a structured, auditable set of tools that handle everything from a gentle warning to a permanent ban.
The Case System
Every moderation action in Levlix creates a numbered case. When a moderator warns, mutes, kicks, or bans a member, the action is logged with the moderator's name, the reason, and a timestamp. This means your team always has a clear history of what happened and who acted.
Any member can view their own cases. Moderators can pull up a user's full case history at any time, making it easy to spot repeat offenders or verify that an action was justified.
Escalation Path
Levlix follows a natural escalation flow:
- Warn - A formal warning recorded as a case. The user is notified.
- Mute - A Discord timeout with configurable duration. The user cannot send messages or speak in voice until the timeout expires.
- Kick - Removes the user from the server. They can rejoin via invite.
- Ban - Removes the user and prevents them from rejoining. Supports temporary bans with automatic expiry.
Each step is independent. You do not have to warn before muting, but the case history makes the escalation visible and defensible if questioned.
Reversible Actions
Mistakes happen. A moderator might ban the wrong person or realize a mute was too harsh. Levlix supports full reversal:
- Revoking a case reverses what can be reversed: a ban is lifted, a timeout is removed. A warning has no action to undo, so revoking it marks the record instead. Revoke a ban case and the user is unbanned. Revoke a mute case and the timeout is lifted immediately.
- Clearing warnings removes all active warnings for a user without affecting their other case history.
This makes your moderation team faster and more confident. Acting quickly is less risky when you know any action can be cleanly reversed.
Why Case Tracking Matters
Without a shared system, moderation becomes guesswork. "Did anyone warn this user before?" is a question that should never require scrolling through chat logs. With numbered cases, your entire team operates from the same record.
The case system also protects moderators. If a banned user appeals, the case history provides clear documentation of what happened and why.
