A deleted message. A nickname change at 3 AM. A member who joined and left within five minutes. These things happen on every active Discord server, and without logging, they disappear without a trace.
Levlix's Server Logging module captures server events in real time and posts them as clean, readable cards in the channels you configure.
What Gets Logged
The logging system covers a wide range of event categories:
- Messages - Deleted messages, edited messages, and bulk deletions. When a message is deleted, Levlix captures the content and the author so your team knows exactly what was removed.
- Users - Nickname changes, role updates, and timeouts; joins and leaves are logged under Server. Every membership change is recorded with timestamps.
- Voice - Users joining, leaving, or switching voice channels. Useful for tracking voice activity patterns and moderating voice-only communities.
- Threads - Thread creation, archival, and deletion. Keeps your team informed about forum and thread activity.
- Emojis and Stickers - Custom emoji and sticker additions and removals. Know immediately when someone modifies your server's emoji library.
- Invites - Invite creation, deletion, and usage tracking.
- Discord AutoMod - Actions triggered by Discord's built-in AutoMod system, logged alongside your other events for a unified view.
- Events - Scheduled server event creation, updates, and cancellations.
- Server, Roles and Webhooks - Settings changes, role modifications, and webhook updates. If someone changes a server setting, it shows up in the log.
Audit Log Integration
When available, Levlix queries Discord's audit log to determine who performed an action. A deleted message does not just show "message deleted." It shows which moderator deleted it and when. This level of detail is critical for accountability in larger moderation teams.
Configuration
All logging settings are managed through the Levlix Web Dashboard. For each event, you choose which text channel receives the log entries, or pick one channel and press Set for all. You can send all logs to a single channel or split them across dedicated channels like #mod-log, #voice-log, and #member-log.
There are no slash commands required. The entire setup is visual and takes effect immediately.
Why Logging Matters
Discord's built-in audit log is limited. It does not capture message content, it does not track voice activity, and it expires after a short period. For any server with more than a handful of active members, that is not enough.
Levlix logging gives your moderation team three things:
- Evidence. When a user reports harassment, you can look up exactly what was said and when.
- Awareness. Nickname changes, role modifications, and server setting adjustments are visible to the entire mod team, not just the person who made them.
- Patterns. Over time, logs reveal behavioral patterns. A member who consistently deletes their messages right after sending them might be worth watching.
Getting Started
Enable logging for your server through the Levlix Dashboard. Select the event categories you want to track, assign log channels, and you are done. The module runs passively in the background with no impact on bot performance.
