The Problem With Toasts
Change a setting in the Levlix dashboard and you used to get a green message in the corner that faded after a few seconds. Look away, or refresh, and it was gone. The question it left behind is a familiar one: did that actually save?
Notifications Are Now Stored
Confirmations and alerts are written to your account and reachable from the bell in the navigation bar. A change you made yesterday is still there today, on whatever device you sign in from.
- Kept per account, not per tab. The history follows your login rather than the page you happened to have open.
- The 250 most recent are retained. Older entries are pruned automatically, so the list stays quick to load and does not grow without limit.
- Unread entries are marked. Anything that happened in the background since your last visit is flagged rather than silently added.
- The bell opens itself for five seconds when something new arrives, then closes again. If you would rather it stayed shut, the bell icon toggles that off and remembers the choice against your account.
Why This Matters for Configuration
Most dashboard changes are invisible by design. Turning off a counting rule or adjusting a warning threshold produces no visible change until a member trips it, sometimes days later. A record you can go back to turns "I think I changed that" into something you can check.
It also helps when more than one administrator has access: the history shows what was confirmed and when, without anyone having to remember.
Server-wide administrative actions are logged separately and in more detail in the audit log, which records who changed what across your whole server.
